Amazon’s latest free app bundle has $110 worth of software

Does Amazon even have an app store anymore? Clearly, it has an app distribution system, but we’re talking more about the “selling” bit. After all, the intent is to make a little money through app sales, right? Well, someone at Amazon clearly hasn’t gotten that message because the company seems to keep doing everything it can to give apps away for free. It was just one week ago when we checked out a whole slew of normally-paid apps Amazon was handing out for free, and now we’ve got another batch to share with you, as $110 worth of software goes free through Friday. What have we got here? Well, the selection’s a little more meager than last week, but there are still some gems to be found. Those include games like Riptide GP2, Monopoly, and Thomas was Alone, a few productivity titles, and even a couple apps for the amateur astronomer – it’s an interesting mix. This bundle of apps is available today, tomorrow, and Friday – wait too long, and you’ll miss it. And even if you don’t have the Amazon Appstore app on your phone right now, you can always claim these free apps through the Amazon website (while logged-in, of course) and access them on your smartphone at a later date.
